The S4W mission is to improving safety, health, comfort, morale, job satisfaction, employee retention, quality, productivity, injury costs, and more by protecting workers and the environment.  We are committed to our clients’ success.  Our consultants are academics actively conducting research in their area of speciality.

Our team of experienced and Board Certified Ergonomists (CPE) and Safety Professionals (CSP) provide on-site job analysis and workplace assessments. Our background includes universities, general industry, hospital, and military. Our mission is to promote health and safety and to reduce the risk of costly injuries by implementing effective, cost-efficient solutions.

We utilize a participatory team approach to safety and ergonomics that takes advantage of the experience of your workers and the input of management to determine the optimal solution to reducing hazards in the workplace.  We don’t just identify problems, we provide detailed practical solutions. We also believe that training is integral to any safety program but that one seminar does not fit all. We offer customized training tailored to each client, their employees, and work environment.

A participatory approach to eliminating work place physical risk factors in the workplace can reduce the risk of injuries and improve your company’s bottom line. We use injury and productivity data as well as LEAN engineering principles to cost justify our recommendations and evaluate interventions to determine the optimal solution.
